Maintenance schedule for your YFZ?

Just wanted to get some solid advice from you seasoned riders out there. I've got a YFZ that I use for a mix of sand dunes, trails, and the occasional race. It's my weekend warrior and I push it pretty hard when I can. I'm trying to dial in a good maintenance schedule that fits this kind of use. What do you all do to keep your YFZs running strong? like how often are you changing oil, cleaning the air filter, checking valves, etc.? any little tips or tricks you've learned the hard way?

I do it every 4K miles, I think it's enough right?
 
Oil gets changed every 10 hours, max, synthetic only, the valves should be checked every 20–25 hours buh..you can stretch it a bit on trail only use, but not with high rev weekend thrashing, also...please grease everything that moves
 
Valves I check every 50 hours or so, but if you're really beating the machine, closer to 40 hours won't hurtt, one thing I learned the hard way, don't forget the chain, lube it after every wet ride and check tension weekly

10 hours for an oil change? Isn't that too much?
