R plastic for a carb model

I've seen people swap the rear "R" plastic onto a carb model, but I haven't seen a photos I can draw inspiration from, Does anyone have pictures of their swap or someone else's that show how it was done?
I'm currently working on a full plastic swap myself. The front fender looks like an easy fit, but the rear fender is a no no Any photos or advice would be super helpful please

Me, too. Seems highly doable though, or so I have seen on YouTube. Maybe it still depends on whether you're a handyman or something. Good luck if you'll end up going for it, aight?

I don't have pics handy, but I did the same swap on my carb model and the rear R plastic fits a lot better than I expected, I had to sand down a small lip on the mounting tab so it would fit well then I drilled two extra little holes in the tail section and used flush bolts, make sure the whole thing is clean and secure

Last fall, I helped my cousin put a R rear end on his old carb model. We didn't have any instructions, so we just went for it. After a bit of sanding and drilling a couple of new holes, it fit. it wasn't perfect, but it looked good and held up even after some tough rides.

I know that 'R' plastic always makes the carb YFZ look so much more modern!
For the rear fender, the biggest issue is going to be the subframe differences and where it meets the seat/fuel tank. You can't really avoid some custom bracket work and probably a bit of strategic trimming on the underside of the 'R' plastic to get it to clear the carb model's frame.
you'll need a heat gun for minor molding, but don't overdo it!
Try searching specifically for 'YFZ450 R fender conversion carb' on YouTube, you might find some build diaries with visual guides, even if they aren't explicit photo threads
