Just curious, I plan on racing on a track and if you were to choose between the 450R and 450X, which one will you get? . Any thoughts you have would be awesome! thanks!
Id probably go with the 450R if I wanna race, more aggressive and handles better on the track, while the 450X feels more tuned for trails and smoother rides. The 450R's sharper suspension and quicker throttle make it a better fit for racing.

If you're focused on track racing, yeah i'd go for the CRF450R... lighter, more agile and built for quick acceleration and sharp handling. The 450X is okay off-road, but its heavier frame and wider-ratio transmission make it less ideal for track use so yeah trails is right. @janis-ian88
