J-B weld on 2019 YFZ450R?

My bro handed me down his 2019 YFZ450R. He told me a few years back, he lost the decompression plug during a trail ride and since he J-B welded a coin to cover the hole. I'm concerned how that affects the overall performance of the ATV? Is it a good idea to remove the weld and replace it with a new decompression plug? Hoping someone can give me sound advice here. Of course! You should replace the J-B weld and coin with a proper decompression plug, that quick fix can cause leaks and performance issues and using the right part keeps your engine running smooth and reliable

Yeah, I'd definitely pull the coin and put the proper decompression plug back in. The JB weld fix might hold, but it's not ideal for sealing or heat. The real plug is cheap and will keep things reliable, why dont people get this sometimes
